Glen has been teaching and performing music in the Twin Cities area since 1980.
He has earned a Master's degree in classical guitar performance and composition, and has performed at all kinds of events: church services, weddings, banquets, and other private venues of all types, both as a soloist and in groups. His two main groups, the gospel group "Sojourner," and the bluegrass group "The St. Croix Boys," performed extensively and became well-known throughout the wider state area for years. His unique combination of classical guitar and bluegrass banjo makes for an interesting and entertaining occasion. His teaching combines the best of several genres to make a well-rounded and highly motivated student. His ability to "connect" with his students, and his interaction, gives them a sense of accomplishment. Glen enjoys his home in the woods near Lindstrom, MN, with his wife, Kay, and family. He continues to home-school and will never stop learning.
